An ad aimed at getting out the vote for Russia’s regional elections suggests that people who don’t vote are gay. The spot shows two men walking through a city, riding on a bus, sitting in a park, and eventually traveling home, all while discussing the futility of voting, one calling it “an illusion of democracy.” While the conversation continues, the pair wind up in a bedroom, with one undressing the other and himself, before closing the door on the viewer, as the other man lies bottom up on the bed.
