NSW gay hate murder probe seeks ‘justice’

A landmark NSW inquiry is investigating cold-case murders of gay men and LGBTQI community members. Led by Justice John Sackar, the special commission of inquiry into hate crimes began its first hearing on Wednesday. The inquiry was created in April after it was recommended by a 2019 parliamentary report.
