Until a few years ago, few places in Brazil had gay parades. Today, however, the reality is different. From Oiapoque to Chuí, distant cities celebrate their LGBT pride day. Good for many, bad for few. This weekend, no less than seven locations, including municipalities and states, will celebrate their gay pride day. In Minas Gerais, the party will be in the city of Alfenas, in its fifth edition and whose theme will be “I’m GLBTTS, I’m a citizen, I’M EQUAL TO YOU!”. The Alfenas parade will gather at 14pm at Praça da Matriz. It is worth remembering that the organizers of the parade there promoted numerous activities focused on sexual diversity during the week leading up to the parade.
