WASHINGTON — Advocacy groups on Wednesday renewed calls for the U.S. and other countries to do more to help LGBTQ+ Afghans who remain inside Afghanistan after the Taliban regained control of it. A report from OutRight Action International and Human Rights Watch that details the plight of LGBTQ+ Afghans includes a series of recommendations for the U.S. and other “concerned governments.”
